Aki Korhonen, CEO, Chief Technologist and Founder

Aki Korhonen has steered the growth and development of PC-Doctor, Inc. since the founding of the company in 1993. Korhonen continues today as the company's leader and technical visionary, driving software development efforts and defining new products and architectures. More than 100 million copies of PC-Doctor products based on his work have been shipped.

Before founding PC-Doctor, Korhonen worked for Nokia Information Systems and Data General.

Korhonen is the co-author of the Common Diagnostic Model (CDM) that has been adopted as an industry standard by the Distributed Management Task Force. He holds three patents from his work in the field of diagnostic software. He is also the author of "PC Hardware from the Inside Out," a book on low-level programming for personal computers, and has been a contributing editor and columnist for "MikroBitti," a leading computer magazine in Finland, since 1984.

Suzanna Mak, Chair of the Board

Since 2009, Suzanna Mak has served as Chairwoman of the Board of PC-Doctor, Inc., leading decisions on strategy, management, direction and customer engagement. From 2003 through 2009, she served as Chief Executive Officer, Director and President of PC-Doctor, leading the company through its geographic transition in 2003, and driving progressive growth in customer base, steady increase in revenue, expansion of products and sales geographies, and an overall deepening of relationships with customers worldwide. Under her guidance, the core company values of long-term investments in customer relationships and a strong and happy company culture have flourished.

Prior to PC-Doctor, Suzanna was chief executive officer and founder of Educational Services for Law Enforcement Training, a government services company producing training programs and materials for law enforcement officers. From 1999 through 2005, she was a Director for Travelzoo.com, a global internet media company that during her tenure grew from a privately held investment to a $17 million public corporation. She also serves as advisory board member for Elder Financial Protection Network, and remains an active contributor to organizations focusing on elder care. A member of the California Bar Association, Suzanna received a juris doctorate with honors from Santa Clara University in 1993, and a bachelor's degree from Stanford in 1990.

Percy Yang, Chief Financial Officer and Director

Yang has held the position of chief financial officer since 2004. He manages all of the company's financial, budgetary and tax operations. He has worked with PC-Doctor for more than eight years as a senior partner with Sallmann, Yang and Alameda certified public accountants. He also serves as a member of the company's board of directors with Korhonen and Mak.

Yang received his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of California, Berkeley and a Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University. He has received accreditation in business valuation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is certified by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

Yang is active in the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and other business and professional communities as an active board and committee member. He lectures at the National Association of Accountants and other accounting, real estate, business, and professional groups, and is active in several local community service groups.

Laura Robertson: Director of Human Resources and Operations

Laura Robertson is responsible for the ongoing design, implementation, and management of the company's human resources infrastructure and office operations.

Robertson brings over 20 years of experience to her role, including human resources, management, adult education, and technology. Prior to joining PC-Doctor, her HR background included positions with global animal health company Merial and Pinnacle Entertainment, and she is an ongoing provider of adult education through community initiatives.

Robertson earned a bachelor of science in organizational communication, summa cum laude, at Kennesaw State University with minors in cultural anthropology and Spanish. She holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Northern Nevada Human Resources Association.
